My great-aunt sent me a card recently and I noticed that it had two postmarks on it. The first one reads RIVA MD. Mar 31 2009 USPS. The second one is French and reads Deavuville 3-4 2009 Calvados.
So basically it takes three days for a card to get from Maryland to a small town on the Normandy coast (not far from some places I'll be visiting this summer)...and then it comes to Spain?
There was a "Par Avion" sticker on the envelope, but my Spanish address was correct. Why, then, was my card diverted to France before arriving here in Priego?
