Everyone got a little nauseous on the ride into (or rather up and around the cliffs) to Sorrento. The town was adorable though. Set on the Bay of Naples, we had amazing views of Mount Vesuvius from our hotel room, which had a little balcony and sitting area outside. I walked around and went grocery shopping here. The streets were narrow and filled with tacky tourist shops, selling mostly lemonchello and related crap. It reminded me of the Cape a little because of the economic dependency on tourism. It was just as quaint as well. We really didn’t spend much time here, just two evenings.
